Kia has revealed the EV4, which includes both sedan and hatchback models, ahead of its second EV Day on February 27. The EV4 will compete with the Tesla Model 3 in the sedan segment and the MG4 EV in the hatchback segment.
The EV4 hatchback, resembling the Kia EV6, features vertically stacked LED headlights, a sharp front, black cladding, and a sunroof. The rear has a large black spoiler and new tail lights. The sedan sports a sloping front, vertical LED headlights, and an upswept tail with vertical tail lights. The hatchback has L-shaped rear lights and distinctive black trim. The GT-Line versions add sportier bumpers and unique 19-inch wheels.
The production version closely follows the 2023 EV4 concept, keeping the angled nose and sloping roofline, with updates like a fresh grille, 19-inch wheels, chunkier wing mirrors, and flush door handles. The length may exceed the Kia Seltos' 4,365mm.
The EV4 is expected to share the EV3's E-GMP electric platform and could offer 58.3kWh and 81.4kWh battery options with front- or all-wheel drive.
